Whatever Plan you do Put it in Action
Minimum for Next 30 days * 3 = 90 Days in action
It will definitely work
or else ! ! !
If it were that easy, the opening you interviewed for would never have existed. You are where you are because the last person could not do it; however, that person probably never got to the place you are today.
Before you can assume an opportunity to increase your sales, you need to evaluate the effectiveness of your product. Satisfaction sells and the best indication of this is in your renewals or multiple contracts. If you don’t have repeat clients then your company name won’t come up when your contacts are walking the fairways with their associates.
In most cases, they don’t renew because of you; they renew because of your product and service. A good start for this a directory of annual sales meeting dates. Even though this may be a high pressure time, it is a good opportunity to become part of your customer’s service base.
In tough times, a good way to penetrate your market is through networking, and current contacts are the best network. Don’t hesitate to go back to them for referrals. With an established relationship, the economy is a good intro into why you are calling. Rather than a cold call, you would prefer to work a warm lead and any contact could easily relate to this. You could also leave a voice mail with your email address during non-business hours. This would give them an opportunity to consider your request without pressure.
Still, the best advice is also the simplest. Call, call, call. If you find a reason to be on the phone when others find excuses not to, you will do well. Good Luck.
