Any tips on how can I play above C for the trumpet?
I’m a tyro wail player (1 year, propagandize experience) who is still attempting to undiluted personification upon top of C upon a three-way clef. When we do fool around upon top of C, a records receptive to advice unequivocally buzzy, as well as not really smooth. What have been a little tips to safeguard which my tall records have been clearer?

The magic trick for trumpet range and tone is to practice while standing with the back of your head against a wall. Really!!!
you have to keep the air moving and adjust your lips and just blast it out. It takes practice but I think you will be able to do good. It is hard to achieve it perfect. Good Luck!
Tighten lips to get higher pitch. Practice will build strength & control.
I am a professional musician and I have played clarinet and bari sax for 18+ years. This last December, I decided to try my hand at trumpet- and so far, so good!
Play a good, strong “G”, and hold it. When you get the tone and steadiness just where you want it, slur up to an “A”. Follow this process up, and take it SLOW. Pay attention to what your throat and tongue are doing, as well as your embochure. Try and get as even a tone as possible on every note. When you reach the first note in your range that cracks and is buzzy, stop.
Start again. This time, that note will be your ending goal. Try to hear each note in your head before you play it. And put some air through that horn!
When you reach “the buzzy note”, if it cracks or sounds buzzy, hold it anyways! Try to adjust it. If you run out of air, start at the note below and slur up into it again. Pay attention to your throat and lips as you are working up through the notes, and think about what position they need to be in to play the first buzzy note clearly.
After you start getting the note more clearly, try to do it a little faster, but don’t play any higher. Do this a few times, and then try to tongue your way up the scale. If that note comes out buzzy, try to adjust it until it is clear. If you run out of air… just go for it! Tighten your embochure, put some air in it, and BLOW!
When you start to get this note clearly and consistantly, go through the process again, and aim for one step higher.
Do this for 10 minutes a day and you will see results in a couple of weeks. Just be patient and dilligent.
Most importantly- remember that you love it, and have fun with it!
Good luck!
